About Me

Jewelry handmade from the found and feral-no two pieces are ever exactly alike. Rocks, minerals and other offerings from nature drive each piece.

I hand-pick each element for every piece I make, then use wire, chain, and hand tools to piece everything together. Nothing is from a kit, and all beading and wirework is done by hand (by me) unless otherwise noted. I take pride and ownership in each piece and hope that you love my work as much as I do. I've loved jewelry, gemstones, rocks and minerals since I was a little kid. I still remember my first trip to the "geode shop" with my parents where they let me pick out a rock to find out what treasure might be inside. That turned out to be amethyst with fools gold inside, which the shop-keeper said was pretty rare. I don't know if that's true, but I was intrigued! I was later gifted my first apache tear and an onyx arrowhead around the age of 10 and I was hooked. I would search the desert dirt for treasures-I once found a stone in the desert that I was told was tourmaline and I was in awe. Later in life I began also collecting faceted stones, which I loved, but soon realized that the passion wasn't quite the same. Though I loved the sparkling beauty and craftsmanship of the polished and faceted stones (I still have and love the first pair of 3ct solitaire garnet earrings I made over 10 years ago), I found myself drown toward the uniqueness of the stones in their more natural state. I love that, even in a tumbled stone, you can often see little bits of it's past running throughout. When I decided to finally begin crafting my own jewelry I felt connected to the process more than I thought I would. I am, thus far, self taught and always looking to learn more. Whenever I try a new style or method, I do a "test drive" with some of my own stones, wearing it everyday for a few weeks to make sure it lasts.
